To stand out in a $1.6 trillion industry, we created a feature-rich platform for users from management to field workers to enhance time management and improve project tracking.
Pictures of whiteboards, paper reports, and Excel tables - this is what the process looked like. Organizing and completing tasks while filing documentation takes too much time, and with the ever-growing workload of one of the largest industries by employment, it was an increasingly less efficient approach, leading to compromised compliance.
A complete digitalization of the construction management process - utilizing resources in real-time from the beginning of the project to its finalization. This required a smart and clean design approach, achieved by empathizing with users, leading them to know exactly what their next task is while their employer has real-time insight into the status of the job.
Users can view, create and manage jobs on the platform. All jobs are shown in a useful data table within a dashboard that has the Work summary and Invoices, allowing easy management of billable work. Users can preview all ongoing and finished jobs, and can edit each job with any additional information.
Payroll reports can be broken down to preview which work orders employees are assigned to, and their recorded time entries. The Data on registered working hours and salary calculations are automatically available in reports for each worker thanks to a carefully crafted and fully digital Schedule Board. Each Work Order card fits all essential information, and is easy to quickly glimpse through color coded resource attributes where users can also easily drag and drop resources in or out.
Instant visibility and streamlined planning offer clear direction and real-time updates, saving time and reducing stress.
Custom built report types allow for template reuse, providing more flexibility. Workers used to fill out their work hours on paper, having to manually finalize field reports and calculate payroll. We created digital signing of sheets inside the reports, enabling personal responsibility and transparency for field workers, management and legal inspectors. Times are logged and displayed in relative timelines.
Recently, we've added features like Small Tools, a catalog of equipment detailing each tool's specs, status, and location. With Equipment, small tools are assigned to specific assets (e.g., a camera on a truck) and can be transferred, deactivated, or sent for repair. Tool Repairs allows for internal or external repairs, with statuses updated automatically. The invoicing function streamlines billing, notifications, and payment tracking, with automated calculations for totals and outstanding debt.
