How we collect, use and protect your personal data

This is the General Privacy Policy (hereinafter: the "Privacy Policy") adopted by PIXION d.o.o., Zagreb, Rudeška cesta 179, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB (Personal Identification Number): 33224105752 (hereinafter: the "Controller"), a company engaged in custom software development, design and AI/ML solutions.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to clearly and thoroughly inform service users, business partners, as well as all other persons who come into contact with the Controller, prior to the commencement of data processing, of all facts relating to the processing of their personal data, their rights and the available legal remedies relating to the data processing procedure.

  • Controller: the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
  • Processor: a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
  • Data subject: an identified or identifiable natural person whose personal data is being processed.
  • Third party: a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process personal data.
  • Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

5. What personal data we process and for what purposes

5.1 If you are our supplier / business partner

We process: name and surname of the legal representative, OIB, registered office address, IBAN (if applicable), signature, e-mail and phone number. Legal basis: Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data may be shared with accounting service providers, legal advisors or auditors (under confidentiality). Retention: Accounting records – 11 years; other data – up to 5 years (statute of limitations).

5.2 If you are an employee of our business partner

We process: name and surname, e-mail and phone number. Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: Until the end of cooperation (or up to 5 years for potential legal claims).

5.3 If you visit our website (www.pixion.co)

We process data:

  • through cookies (see our Cookie Policy for full details);
  • when you fill in the contact form or schedule a meeting (name, surname, business e-mail, telephone number, LinkedIn profile, project description);
  • when you subscribe to our newsletter.

Purpose: Responding to inquiries and sending relevant updates. Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Recipients: Legal advisors, auditors or public authorities when required. Retention: Up to 1 year from receipt of the message (or longer if legal proceedings are initiated).

5.4 If you are a candidate for an employee position

We process: name and surname, date of birth, address, contact details, education/qualifications, CV, cover letter, website/portfolio/LinkedIn/GitHub links. Legal basis: Pre-contractual steps / performance of contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data is collected via our careers section or e-mail. Retention: For the duration of the recruitment process. After that, erased unless you give explicit consent for longer storage.

5.5 If you are our employee

6. Data protection

The Controller implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of processing systems and services. All employees are bound by confidentiality obligations.

7. Data transfers

We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is shared only with trusted processors (under data processing agreements) or when legally required. No transfers to third countries outside the EEA occur.
