Role Overview
As our Lumin team Lead Product Designer, your primary focus in the near future will be shaping the user experience for Lumin, our SaaS platform for QA teams. You'll tackle challenges like intuitive BDD scripting and AI-driven insights to enhance efficiency and minimize rework, while leading a team to craft scalable, user-centric designs that align business and technical needs in agile settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design for Lumin's features, from user research with QA professionals to prototyping AI-assisted test workflows and iterating based on usability testing.
- Conduct qualitative/quantitative research to identify QA-specific pain points, such as complex test visualization, and validate designs with metrics like improved test coverage.
- Develop and maintain design systems for consistent interfaces in web/mobile test management, ensuring accessibility (WCAG) and smooth AI integrations.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with developers and clients; mentor junior designers; align work with agency roadmaps and client goals.
- Provide and receive design critiques, refining elements like BDD scenario editors and result dashboards.
- Contribute to other agency projects as needed, staying ahead of UX trends in QA and AI.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in product design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating research-driven designs for complex applications (e.g., test automation, AI-enhanced workflows).
- Proficiency in Figma/Adobe; familiarity with HTML/CSS and testing methodologies (e.g., BDD) a plus.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and systems thinking skills.
- A bachelor degree in visual design or computer sciences; equivalent experience welcome.

- Versatility across UX/UI, motion design, user research/testing, and graphic elements.
